Biography:
Lena Headey was born on October 3, 1973 in Hamilton, Bermuda. She is best known for her appearances in The Brothers Grimm, Possession and 300.
She had not gone to a drama school before she became an actress. Her performance in a one-off show in the company of school friends caught the attention of a casting agent, who asked her to audition. She was eventually cast in Waterland, her big-screen debut.
She went on to appear in major films such as The Remains of the Day, Onegin and Aberdeen. As of 2011, she appears as Cersei Lannister in HBO’s Game of Thrones.
